This Isn’t Sales. It’s Negotiation

If you hate sales, you’re in good company.

You’ve probably ghosted more pitches than you’ve sent.
You’ve sat through the awkward coffee, the fake scarcity, the email follow-ups that felt like booby traps.
And somewhere in there, you decided you weren’t “built for that.”

You’re not wrong.

Because a lot of what passes for sales is just pressure with a blazer on.
And if that’s the game, you’d rather sit it out.

Cool. We would too.

But negotiation? That’s different.

Sales wants the yes.
Negotiation wants the truth.
Sales talks first.
Negotiation listens longer.
Sales is about getting someone to want what you have.
Negotiation is about knowing what matters—and holding your ground without folding your self.

You don’t need to be loud.
You don’t need a funnel.
You don’t need a personal brand and a strategy call calendar.

You just need to be able to look someone in the eye and say,

“That doesn’t work for me.”
or
“Let’s talk about what this actually is.”
or
“Before we keep going, I need to name what’s not working.”

This isn’t about winning. It’s about not disappearing.

You’re not bad at negotiation.
You just haven’t had a place to practice saying what you actually mean.

That’s what Cool With That is for.

We don’t coach you into confidence.
We give you the language, the mirror, and sometimes the face you make when someone says something absurd.

No performance.
Just presence.
No pitch.
Just clarity.

Let’s get better at holding the room—without selling ourselves out.

Let’s rewrite that message—together
